Doors Open Day

Pregnancy is a wonderful period in the life of a family, full of bright excitement, nice troubles and joyful expectation of the real wonder. The expectant parents have a lot of tasks and at most 9 months to manage them. To choose the maternity clinic and a doctor, who will deliver the baby, to buy a baby carriage, a bed and the first “trousseau” for the newborn, to prepare the house for the appearance of the new family member.

Yet during pregnancy the parents begin to take care about the health and well-being of their baby. The pregnant lady usually cares about her nutrition, comfort, strives to stay longer outdoors and to be less nervous.

You have probably heard and read a lot about the umbilical cord blood preservation. The umbilical cord blood is the optimal source of the precious stem cells and one can preserve it only at birth. This is the innovational medical service, which is being improved from day to day due to the persistent work of the thousands of doctors and scientists in the whole world.

Visiting the Open Doors Day in the Institute of Cell Therapy, you can obtain information about the umbilical cord blood stem cells, find out more about the methods of collection and preservation of the umbilical cord blood, hear the list of diseases, which are successfully treated by the stem cells.

You are invited to the Doors Open Day every third saturday of a month, at 12.00 and 15.00 p.m.
